REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.

General Data Protection Regulation

With reference to Articles 13 and 14 of the legislation in force since 25 May 2018, we ensure that personal data is processed with respect for fundamental rights and freedoms and for the dignity of the data subject, particularly with regard to confidentiality, personal identity and the right to personal data protection. Under Articles 13 and 14 of REGULATION (EU) 2016/679 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 27 April 2016, processing means any operation (collection, recording, organisation, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, retrieval, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, disclosure, erasure and destruction) applied to personal data, with or without electronic tools. Please note that data you provide, or which we otherwise obtain in the course of our activities, is processed manually and/or electronically in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and fairness and with full protection of your rights, particularly your privacy.

WE THEREFORE INFORM YOU THAT:

1. Data is processed in relation to contractual requirements, compliance with obligations imposed by laws, regulations and EU legislation, and to enable effective administrative management of our relationship with you. Data will be processed manually and/or on magnetic, electronic or telematic media.
2. Without prejudice to communications and disclosures required by law, data is used solely to protect credit and better manage our rights relating to each commercial relationship. Data processing also serves purposes connected with, instrumental to and necessary for providing the Service.
3. Processing the data referred to in point 1 is mandatory and essential for contractual relationships. Refusal to provide the data or allow its processing may make it impossible to proceed with those contractual relationships.
4. Data will be processed throughout the contractual relationship and subsequently to comply with legal requirements and for commercial purposes.
5. Pursuant to Articles 13–14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, in force since 25 May 2018, Customers have the right to object, in whole or in part and on legitimate grounds, to processing. In accordance with the procedures and limits established by applicable legislation, they may request confirmation of whether personal data concerning them exists, learn its origin, receive it in an intelligible form, obtain information on the logic, methods and purposes of processing, request its updating, rectification or completion, and request the erasure, anonymisation or blocking of unlawfully processed data, including data no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
6. The data controller is Medical Cloud, Centro Direzionale San Benedetto, via Giovanni Paolo II, 92100 Agrigento, represented by its legal representative Ivano Midulla. Data may be processed at the company's premises, at tax advisers' offices or by other professionals appointed to handle accounting and other matters within their remit.
7. In this regard, we confirm that all data will be processed in full compliance with personal data protection legislation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
