On 26 November 2025, Medical Cloud took part in the presentation of the Italian Air Force's new healthcare Point of Entry at the 3rd Wing's Villafranca base. This strategic infrastructure is dedicated to managing infectious disease emergencies and biocontainment scenarios, providing an operational hub for the country's rapid response to health crises.
Senior civil and military authorities attended: Dr Ciciliano, Head of the Civil Protection Department; General Conserva, Chief of Staff of the Italian Air Force; General Pietro Perelli, Head of the Air Force Medical Corps; General Emanuele Garzia, Head of the Air Force Health Service; and General Massimo Cicerone, Head of the Logistics Command's Support Service. The presentation centred on a biocontainment exercise that demonstrated the facility's operational capabilities in the field.
Medical Cloud contributed its advanced personnel and patient monitoring solutions to the exercise: ultra-light sensors for heart rate, respiration and SpO₂, real-time location tracking, integrated bodycams with live streaming, automatic operational safety alerts and immediate reporting through AI-based automatic dialogue transcription. The platform's control room monitored the different scenarios, demonstrating safe operation and rapid response times.

The work at the Villafranca Point of Entry marks another step in Medical Cloud's collaboration with the Italian Air Force, following the Artemis 4554 mission on Monte Rosa. This collaboration brings healthcare technology alongside the Armed Forces in complex operational scenarios, strengthening the national healthcare system's response capacity.
