Medical Cloud will support the Italian Air Force in Artemis 4554, a medical and scientific mission taking place on the summit of Monte Rosa. Artemis 4554 takes its name from Monte Rosa's 4,554-metre summit, one of the highest peaks in the Alps and a longstanding location for research into the human body's adaptation to low pressure and freezing temperatures. In this setting, the Italian Air Force is conducting a medical and scientific project involving Mission Specialists in high-altitude tests and measurements.
Medical Cloud's contribution focuses on real-time monitoring of personnel vital signs during the mission. AI-based technologies will collect and analyse clinical data in the field, providing the medical team with tools to track Mission Specialists' physiological progress and support research into the body's responses to extreme conditions.
