Medical Cloud took part in the Logos & Téchne forum, an initiative promoted by FIASO, the Italian Federation of Healthcare and Hospital Organisations, dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in public healthcare. The event took place in Ortigia, bringing together experts, companies and institutions to discuss the opportunities AI technologies offer healthcare services.
The Logos & Téchne forum was created to give FIASO member organisations a space to consider how ethical and organisational thinking (logos) can be combined with the technological tools (téchne) reshaping care and service delivery. The AI-focused edition addressed topics including clinical algorithm governance, integration with hospital information systems and the impact on patient care pathways.
For Medical Cloud, it was an opportunity to engage with healthcare and hospital chief executives and strategic management teams, natural partners for bringing artificial intelligence and telemedicine solutions into practice. Discussions with Syracuse ASP and the other organisations present confirmed public-sector interest in tools that make care easier to access, including for the most vulnerable groups.
Participation in the forum forms part of Medical Cloud's work in healthcare innovation, built on lasting collaborations with local healthcare organisations and projects that put the relationship with citizens first. Settings such as Logos & Téchne are valuable because they show how technologies developed in the laboratory can find practical applications in everyday public services.
